Dignity. Service. Spirituality. Justice.

These are challenging times.

In the words of Sr. JoAnn Persch, one of the founders of ICDI, “When we started we thought we would see immigration reform but it looks like we’re in it for the long haul.”

This is a critical time for immigrants.  ICDI visits people in immigration detention in four jails every week to accompany them and lift their spirits.  We provide housing and case management for asylum seekers and survivors of torture.

We need your help so that we can provide a welcoming faith-based response.

We do not receive any government funding and rely completely on generous donors and foundations.
